THE EDITOR ROUTE
1. Choose your editor.
Choose your editor. For VS Code and Open VSX, look for ARKO with publisher DevSecAI. Eclipse uses the separate Arko update site.
Open the Extensions panel in VS Code, search for ARKO and select the DevSecAI listing. You can also open the official Marketplace page.
ext install DevSecAI.Arko
2. Sign in. Run your first scan.
Open ARKO from your editor’s activity bar and complete the browser sign-in with your work email.
Open a project you own. From the Command Palette, run:
Arko: Run Security Scan
macOS: ⇧⌘P Windows / Linux: Ctrl+Shift+P
What success looks like.
A completed result in the ARKO panel shows what was checked. Open a finding to review its location and explanation, inspect the proposed change and check the updated source.
New to this editor?
On macOS: open the downloaded installer and move the editor to Applications if prompted. On Windows: run the downloaded installer and follow its setup prompts. On Linux: use the official package for your distribution.
Open the Command Palette with ⇧⌘P on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux. Use the Extensions view to find ARKO; after installation, look for its icon in the activity bar.
Install from the Extensions view, then open ARKO from the editor’s side bar. Sign in before your first scan.
Use its official download and setup instructions for your operating system.
